Nowhere is that more evident than in marketing automation. The advent of the latest technologies has further augmented this transition where traditional marketers have moved beyond the simplest forms of marketing automation; today, they can send welcome emails and auto-responders to their customers while they are asleep. However, next year is bound to witness the much anticipated B2B marketing automation to shift into multi-channel messaging and for that matter, even personalized, real-time multi-channel messaging. As A00I and machine learning gain more extensive use, marketing automation is set to get increasingly more sophisticated and impressive. It is quite possible that the B2B marketing automation could be using more machine learning than true artificial intelligence. The classic definition of AI is that it can fool a human into thinking the AI is another human; most chatbots can't do that, not yet. However, machine learning is definitely in play. Marketing performance primarily runs on data today, where its potential is being leveraged to get the data to start answering questions. Commonly, B2B marketers are known to be behind on trends. However, tables have turned where today, 32 percent of modern marketers are already optimizing for voice-activated personal assistants, a trend that is imminent to witness acceleration next year, affecting affect marketing automation significantly. Marketing automation reminds me more and more of the advertising automation going on in pay per click and social media advertising. Marketers are increasingly able to sit back from routine operations like bid edits or sending updates about a new blog post and are moving more into data analysis and customer experience. Having these powerful tools to work with is fantastic. Although the tools are only as good as the people who use them, marketing automation can surely work wonders, but it's not exactly magic. Even the most robust marketing automation platforms need smart people to set them up and optimize them. This edition brings you some of the most prominent organizations that specialize in the marketing automation landscape and have excelled with their service and will be significant drivers of the aforementioned trends to the mainstream.Let us know your thoughts!Bridging Innovation with Awareness Issac George
